It is important to know that breastfeeding is a learned art and, like childbirth, is much easier with preparation, knowledge and encouragement.

Our meetings are informal discussions led monthly by women who have happily and successfully breastfed their own children and have subsequently been accredited by La Leche League International. The Meetings are open to any women interested in the art of breastfeeding. All children are welcome. We have many books about breastfeeding, parenting, childbirth and nutrition in our library for loan. Bring a healthy snack to share if you would like.

Fort Myers PM

When?	1st Thursday of every month at 7 p.m.
Where?	St. Hilary's Episcopal Church corner of McGregor and Colonial Blvd.

Cape Coral

When?	1st Wednesday of every month at 10 a.m.
Where?	Cape Coral Methodist Church 4118 Coronado Parkway, Cape Coral (Two blocks west of Del Prado Blvd.)

Fort Myers AM

When?	2nd Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m.
Where?	Zion Lutheran Church 7401 Winkler Road, Fort Myers (Between Gladiolus and Cypress Lake)

Lehigh Acres

When?	3rd Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m.
Where?	United Way House 1303-103 Homestead Road N (Between Beth Stacey Blvd and Plaza Dr)

Leader Information

Accredited Leaders are experienced breastfeeding mothers and are familiar with research and current findings dealing with breastfeeding. They offer practical information and moral support to nursing mothers through monthly meetings and telephone help.
