Are you breastfeeding or considering it?

The goal of La Leche League of the Emerald Coast is to provide mother-to-mother support and information about breastfeeding. We all have our own style of parenting based on the idea that a mother is most in tune to her infant's needs when breastfeeding. Since every family is different, what works for one may not work for another. We hope that when you come to the meetings, you will be able to listen and share and take home what you think will work for your family.

Mothers & Mothers-to-be are encouraged to attend. Children are always welcome. Please bring quiet toys for older children.

1st Thursdays of the Month at 6:45 p.m.

Where?  

Cafe Liquid, Niceville

772 John Sims Parkway (Hwy. 20)
Niceville, FL 32578

The coffee shop is located on the north side of the street - between Partin Drive and Cedar. 
If you are coming from the west (FWB) it will be on your left and if you are coming from the east (Destin, BWB) it will be on your right. 
There is a Sears Store next door and it is near Niceville High School.
It recently changed names and was previously called P.F.I.A Coffee Shop.

There are two other little shops located in the same storefront. One is a comic book store and the other is a cell phone company.

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone or email whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.

The mission of La Leche League International is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and the mother.
