Welcome to Big Bend La Leche League. Our goal is to provide mother-to-mother support and information about breastfeeding. We all have our own style of parenting based on the idea that a mother is most in tune to her infant's needs when breastfeeding. Since every family is different, what works for one may not work for another. We hope that when you come to the meetings, you will be able to listen and share and take home what you think will work for your family.

Mothers & Mothers-to-be are encouraged to attend. Children are always welcome.

We offer slings and books for sale, and we provide an extensive lending library.

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
